Coolpad Fancy E561 Flashing

Here we will be sharing step by step guide to flash / install Coolpad Fancy E561 firmware using YGDP Tool / Yulong General Download Platform.

This guide is very helpful for those users who have a soft bricked Coolpad Fancy E561 or who just want to flash the Stock ROM. You can fix soft bricked Collpad Fancy E561 and revert back to stock ROM following this guide. So just follow the given steps to Install Stock Firmware On Coolpad Fancy E561 and Restore it to stock Firmware / ROM

Prerequisite :

-  Collpad Fancy E561 Firmware CPB format ( download link at the end of article )
-  YGDP for Coolpad E561 Tested ( download link at the end of article )
-  Make sure the phone have at least 50% of battery percentage
-  Backup data if you just want revert back in to stock rom, or skip this step if phone already in bootloop condition.

Guide :

- Open YGDP Tool
- Select Developer, Login
- Click CONFIG
- Select CPB file, pick Coolpad Fancy E561 firmware file and click Apply
- Put the phone in to Download mode ( in off condition, press & hold volume up + power on, and then press volume up once again to confirm download mode )
- Connect phone in to usb
- Makesure device is detected by YGDP Tool
- Click START, and wait the process untill 100%

Coolpad Fancy E561 EDL Flashing

EDL is Emergency Download mode on Qualcomm processor chipset devices. This mode will be needed when your device get hard bricked and unable to unbricked using YGDP Tool.

Here below is the simple guide to flashing / unbricking Coolpad Fancy E561 using EDL / 9008 mode

Prerequisite :

-  Collpad Fancy E561 EDL / 9008 firmware ( download link at the end of article )
-  QPST / QFIL software, UFI Android ToolBox
-  Make sure the phone have at least 50% of battery percentage
-  Qualcomm Driver, disable driver signature first for Win 64 bit user
-  Put the phone into EDL / 9008 mode, need short test point below :

Guide :

* Using QFIL
- Install QPST software
- Open QFIL software
- Click Flat build
- Browse on select programer, go to firmware folder and select prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn
- Click on Load XML, go to firmware folder and then select rawprogram0.xml & patch0.xml
- Put the phone into EDL / 9008 mode
- Makesure device is detected on device manager as Qualcomm 9008 devices
- Click Download
- Wait until process done

* Using UFI Android ToolBox
- Open UFI Android ToolBox software
- Click Flash tab
- Click Qualcomm
- Select prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn as qualcomm SOC
- Drag & drop rawprogram0.xml and patch0.xml from firmware
- Put the phone into EDL / 9008 mode
- Makesure device is detected on device manager as Qualcomm 9008 devices
- Clcik Flash
- Wait until process done

To write QCN file, you need to activate diag mode. type *#*#717717#*#* on dial screen, diag port enabled pop up will appear and check in device manager, diagnostic port must exist.

You can use QPST, QFIL or UFI androidtoolbox to write qcn file.

How to enable diagnostic port on Andromax A A16C3H without root

Here we will be sharing step by step guide to enable diagnostic port on Smartfren Andromax A A16C3H without root. Diagnostic port will be required when writing qcn file.

Ok, here's the steps :

1. Download QuickShortcutMaker.apk or download from playstore
2. Open QuickShortcutMaker app
3. Type " about phone " on input keyword to filter form
4. Click about phone, then scroll down
5. Click test setting
6. Click Try
7. Click test switch
8. Switch to ON value, phone will reboot
9. Now debugging & diagnostic port active
10. Check on device manager, diag port must be exist

Don't forget to revert back to OFF value on test switch menu after writing qcn file

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Audio Fix

Here we will be sharing how to fix audio problem on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro ( qualcom chipset edition ).
Xiaomi redmi note 3 has 3 variants, that is Hennessy ( Mediatek Chipset ), Kenzo ( Qualcom Chispet ) and Kate / Special Edition ( Qualcom chipset ).

This solution is for Redmi note 3 with qualcom chipset .

Symptoms :

  • No sounds, buzzer, earpiece and mic
  • No sound on media 
  • Phone restarting
  • Phone hang 




Check first the track / line of all audio points, buzzer, earpiece or mic. If all track is OK / No broken track, then the problem is Audio Amplifier chip IC. So you must change the Audio IC with new one.

Audio amplifier chip IC for xiaomi redmi note 3 ( qualcom chipset ) has code part WCD9326, the price is about $4 - $5 /pieces.

To change the ic, you need hardware toolkit and phone hardware skill of course. So if you are User, don't try this solution at home, just go to cell phone repairing workshop and let them fix it and prepare budget about $25 - $40 cost.

Now i'll share QCN file for Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Kenzo
To write QCN file, you need to activate diag mode. Root first and then run this command :
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb
But since redmi note 3 kenzo need bootloader unlock to root and not support enable diag via code, so you need BST Dongle to easily enable diag without root and just one click enable QC Diag button on BST software.

and check in device manager, diagnostic port must exist.

You can use QPST, QFIL or UFI androidtoolbox to write qcn file.
